What is CurrentCert?
CurrentCert is a credential management app for EMTs and paramedics. You scan a certification card, license or PDF, it reads the credential, issuer and expiration date, and from then on it tracks what needs attention next. It also logs continuing education hours against each credential and sends your whole record to an employer in one email. The record belongs to you, not to an agency or HR system.
Is CurrentCert a subscription?
No. CurrentCert is a one-time purchase. The founding price during the launch window is $29.99, and the standard price after that is $39.99. Both are paid once through the App Store on iPhone. There is no monthly or annual fee, and no permanent free tier. Every new account gets 14 days of full access with no card required.
Which EMS credentials does CurrentCert recognize?
At launch CurrentCert recognizes NREMT EMT, AEMT and Paramedic, BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, ITLS, NRP, FP-C and CCP-C nationally, plus Texas EMT, AEMT and Paramedic licenses. Recognized credentials come with the issuer, normal validity period and renewal rules prefilled. Any other credential, including other state licenses and department-specific requirements, can still be tracked by entering it manually.
Does my employer need to use CurrentCert?
No. CurrentCert works without any employer participation. You own the record, you decide who sees it, and it stays with you when you change agencies. There is no employer dashboard, HR system or training officer in the loop. When someone asks for your certifications, you send them yourself from the app.
How does Share all work?
Open Share credentials, choose Share all or select the ones you need, and pick a delivery method. Email sends one message with every selected credential file attached. Credential packet generates a single PDF with a professional summary, the credential list, expiration dates and the documents themselves. A secure link lets a recipient view the record without creating an account.
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
Nothing is deleted. You can still sign in and view every credential and document you stored. Adding credentials, scanning, logging CE, expiration reminders, credential packets and sharing pause until you unlock CurrentCert with the one-time purchase. Your data waits for you either way.
